RATES & SERVICES 

 

**Visit pricing is for 1-3 pets. Additional pets - $1 extra per cat, $2 extra per dog

Standard Visit - 25 minutes - $16

25 minutes is perfect for a dog walk or spending time with a social/friendly cat. 

Power Visit - 15 minutes - $12

15 minute visit for a quick potty break or quick cat visit for that shy or independent feline. 

** All tasks must be able to be completed in the allotted time.

Extended Visit - 50 minutes - $23

50 minutes of quality time spent with your pet.

**Not available during midday hours Monday through Friday. 

Overnight Visit - $60

We arrive between 9:00 - 10:00 pm,  stay overnight then leave the next morning between 6:30 - 7:30 am. The visit includes a late night walk/let out and a morning walk/let out.  Your pets will also receive lots of TLC  from the AFITW sitter during their stay in your home.

New Client Consultation - FREE*

* If you have already researched our company and are ready to reserve service with A Friend in the Woods, the New Client Consultation is always FREE. If you are interviewing several services to determine who is the right fit for you and your pets, we charge a $20 fee. If we are the company that you choose, the $20 will be applied to your first invoice, as a credit.

Holiday Surcharge - $10/day

Because we offer service to our clients over every holiday, we forfeit spending time with our families to ensure that your pets are happy and well cared for while you are away.  We charge an additional $10 per day for holiday visits.

Payment

  • We will now require payment in full for Thanksgiving and Christmas reservations prior to the holiday (11/1 for Thanksgiving, 12/1 for Christmas). If we reach our capacity more than 30 days prior, we will contact you and request payment be made at that time.

Cancellation

  • If you cancel a holiday reservation with less than 14 days until the start of your booked trip, a 25% cancellation fee will apply. 
  • If you cancel a holiday reservation with less than 7 days until the start of your booked trip, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
  • Any booking which we have not received payment for, at least 30 days in advance of the holiday will not be considered confirmed or reserved. 

Miscellaneous Fees 

  • Pet Supply Shopping - $15 plus the cost of the items purchased (i.e., food, litter, treats, cleaning supplies)
  • Bounced check fee - $30 per occurrence 
  • Administering oral medication and insulin injections - NO CHARGE
